BlackBerry Storm To Cost $199 After Rebates, Available November 21st

The much anticipated BlackBerry Storm has finally gotten an official price tag from Verizon Wireless. RIM’s first touch screen device will be available on November 21st in Verizon Wireless stores and online for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate, and of course, with a 2-year contract.

We fell in love with the Storm during our initial hands on, specifically with its SurePress touch screen display which offers full tactile “click” feedback on every press. Literally, it there’s a real button-feedback feeling wherever you press on the display.

Other features of the device include RIM’s new OS 4.7 which comes packaged with DataViz’s Documents To Go for opening and making light edits to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Files. The full HTML Web browser impressed us during our initial hands-on as well, but we can’t wait to put it through its paces as soon as we get one in the office.

For more information, check out our initial hands-on or head on over to the Verizon Wireless Web site.
